会议简介 Introduction
本次边会由中国生态环境部气候变化司和人人享有可持续能源组织共同主办，生态环境部对外合作与交流中心、国家气候战略中心、“一带一路”绿色发展国际联盟和全球环境研究所共同承办，由世界资源研究所（WRI）等机构支持，拟邀请相关国家部长代表、国际机构高级别代表、以及相关领域资深专家参会，以加强气候变化南南合作为主题展开交流对话。
中国气候变化事务特使解振华、联合国气候变化框架公约秘书处执行秘书西蒙·斯蒂尔、联合国秘书长气候行动特别顾问塞尔温·哈特、中国生态环境部副部长赵英民、中国生态环境部应对气候变化司司长李高、世界资源研究所北京代表处首席代表方莉博士等多位嘉宾将出席此次高级别论坛。
The event is co-hosted by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of China (MEE) and the Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL), organized by Foreign Environmental Cooperation Center of MEE (FECO), National Center for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation (NCSC), BRI International Green Development Coalition (BRIGC), and Global Environmental Institute (GEI), the side event will feature a communication and dialogue themed enhancing South-South Cooperation on Climate Change, with participants including ministerial and senior level officials from governments and international organizations, as well as senior academic experts and private sector leaders. World Resources Institute (WRI) and several other organizations have contributed to this event as well.
Key guests like Mr. Xie Zhenhua, Special Envoy for Climate Change Affairs of China;Mr. Simon Stiell,Executive Secretary of UN Climate Change Secretariat; Mr. Selwin Hart, Special Advisor to the UN Secretary General on Climate Action; Mr. Zhao Yingmin, Vice Minister of Environment and Ecology of China; Mr. Li Gao, Director General of Department of Climate Change, Ministry of Ecology and Environment of China Dr.Fang Li,Contry Director of World Resources Institute will participate this high-level forum.
